has anyone done business with them. they are out of PLAINWELL MI. they have a really nice sand scoop that came up on a search but there navigation is so difficult that i thought i Had come up on an old page. so i emailed them with the link and asked if the price was correct and if they still have that scoop. that was on Friday and have not had an answer yet. now i don't want to order from them because i am afraid i wont get anything and scammed out of my money.

Which scoop are you looking at?
The pic I saw on their site was of RTG scoops and a couple SunSpots.
I recommend going to the source instead of a dealer that is not even close.
Here is the RTG link.

it was a little different than the rtg style which is my second choice and what i will more than likely end up with.. here is a pic but the one i was looking at was a one piece handle this one breaks down. i am worried and the travel type i would be afraid it would come apart while i am there in the middle of the waves and loose part of it.Heavy Duty Travel Backhoe Beach Scoop is approx.4.6 lbs. Basket size is 11"long x 7" wide x 5 1/2' height with 9/16" holes. All aluminum and 48" overall length, breaks down to 2 pieces of 24"each
#BACKHT - $159.95

the other place was selling it for $130

i need to apoligise for other post. i just got an email back from prostock metal detectors. here is what they said
"You are right, I no longer have that model. I just went through months of cancer treatment and that has left me behind with my web pages. That scoop didn't work out well in our sticky clay bottom lakes as the aluminum would tear. This is a link to a scoop that I sell that is a much better in every way. Shipping is $12.00."

That scoop works well in the water. It's very heavy,,,,,kinda a draw back.
For around here,,,I'd go with the RTG.
Pro scoops,,most likely still has the backhoe,,,if thats what ya want.
I've used mine for several years,,,,countless huge holes,,,,,no fatigue what so ever.
At least to the scoop that is :rofl
