Ken and I decided to hit the bay today. We are having lots of northeast winds still, so working in the water is not an option for us.
Exercise was the best of it today – see you at SurfChurch Sunday.

We ganged up on the surfgod today hoping to pull some fine yellow from him since he had the ocean very angry today. Tim, ken, and I head to the lane for plundering.
We see a few others today and then we move to thimble beach for a test and then on to the land of gray matter.
Here in the land of gray matter late in the day and west we strike a few targets finally.

Ken, Gary and I hit the bay kinda east of the rocks today. – bobby is west and Dalton the same – same results as we had.
Few targets for us all, but no tickets and no yellow.
Weather man ken says wed. will be great, gary says bad, so we will have to get up and see what is what -– as long as we get up on the green side of the grass - it is a good day – stand by.

That stuff makes a nice sheath. I used to make custom knives and sheaths out of leather
but that stuff would have been great for fishermans knives and storage of a knife.

long ago i sharpened all my knives on water stones - then i advanced to addition high grit jap stones - great
last year i bought a new guided deal called a Edge Pro Pro.......great sharpener and angles are exact - fast and nice.

new sharpener came out called the wicked edge.....i did not like it at first, but after reading many many reviews on it and how sharp it can get knives, i had to have one. sailed in friday, so far the jury is still out on it. it gets blades sharper also.

the cases are made from material called.....Kydek....prertty kewl stuff.

i buy knives during the winter and sharpen and now i carry to marinas and sell for bait and fillet knives to fishermen......100 knives + or - and no cases....some want cases......i made leather before, but this is fast kinda and nice to use.

The guru and I started out on the eastern end of thimble beach and hunted here and there and then we picked up and headed west – west as in west of the rocks to the big rocks – 1st spin here since winter dry sand spins.
I think we stumbled on yet another gray matter graveyard.
Some clad, crap and more crap – weather threatened us all day, but we made it, tues… - we might take a road trip west by north.
Weather permitting, we will see you on tues.

Over slept some today, but tide and wind were on my side when I rolled in on Thimble beach.
You will see very good conditions. – fair day for me – anytime I find more quarters than pennies, I consider that a good day – my opinion.
Ken went to the west rocks on the bay and dug some crap today, but u will see 1 nice yellow ticket he got sat. and 2 925ers also.
Heard about some clad and one 925er from oceanfront also.
