Ken and I decided to hit the bay today. We are having lots of northeast winds still, so working in the water is not an option for us.
Exercise was the best of it today – see you at SurfChurch Sunday.

beach and bay spins today - 3 - 14min.vid

We ganged up on the surfgod today hoping to pull some fine yellow from him since he had the ocean very angry today. Tim, ken, and I head to the lane for plundering.
We see a few others today and then we move to thimble beach for a test and then on to the land of gray matter.
Here in the land of gray matter late in the day and west we strike a few targets finally.

That stuff makes a nice sheath. I used to make custom knives and sheaths out of leather
but that stuff would have been great for fishermans knives and storage of a knife.

Tried to locate the guru – no luck – a few looters are at the oceanfront searching.
I decide to hit Thimble beach, LowTide Tim lives close by and he said he would hunt from home that way and he showed up and then the guru. Guru said he found some nice clad in count at the lane.
Monday is hours away and we are planning and thinking……see you someplace weather permitting – wind is still blowing – NE…….i like it.

One more thing

When we on walking in on top of the dune, we can see most of the deeper blue looking areas from the dune.........at times we could have many deeper areas to search and if they are spaced apart some, we walk the harder damp zone to get to these aras and search as we go....but

a much higher percentage of our finds are just over the edge out maybe three to five feet ...

Set back for me today – Lowtide Tim brings smoke on us all – 1 nice hole yields 6 Kennedy halves – 3 susan b anthony’s and 2 qtrs – keys, etc - - gold still eludes us all again.
The bay today – Friday – man oh man I just do not know where we will go – we are planning as I type.
