Not a bad idea really....I know ive found a bunch of stuff while just walking back to the truck.

i hunt mostly Tybee as i live close to it. not very big .has 4 reg hunters ..i see about 3 hunters every time i go in the summer. you can cover Tybee pretty good in 2 days.i normally hunt about 3 hrs a day,only low tide..hunt at night a lot in the summer..funny thing is i can stand on my beach and see HH beach across the bay but takes 1 1/2 hours to drive there! its hard to hunt the water on Tybee as the waves are almost always 3' + i hunt mostly wet sand,never dry sand...now HH is totally diff as it gets almost no waves,iv seen it like a lake very often.great water hunting there!

cool beans Jay! good to have you around.i was going to HH this morning but might rain next 3 days so might not go.something you will have to get used to unlike CB or WB at HH is the sand dont change much..good/bad who knows...long slow and shallow 50 yards out and still be only waste deep. let me know when you get settled and we will hook up.bad thing is i dont hunt much on the weekends as i see you do.im retired and like to avoid the people by hunting during the week or at night. i know,we can do the 2 shift thingy and keep it cleaned out LOL! check your PM box..sent ya my cell #.

Congrats Wayne, your gonna be real happy with the Ace 250.
Let us know when you put the big coil back on and head to the beach.

If your getting allot of false signals, try turning the sense down a notch or two.
The smaller coil will help pinpoint and root around other stuff.

Pa has some tough park rules but like Dave says - the individual supt. quite often allows more than the letter of the law implies. Leaving digs open will get a place off limits in a hurry. Beaches in parks are closed to detecting but many will let you after hours as long as you are careful not to disturb anyone. sad to say we often have to police our own ranks because of bad habits. Once a place is lost it is really hard to get it open again. Lot of state land in PA we don't want to lose.

Hey guys - get all the trash picked up before we get there A lot of new sand still sounds better than snow everyday. Frost won't leave the ground until snow melts. At this rate it will be another 6 weeks before time
